about megan

Growing up Megan was always eager to dress up and put on a show (even if it was starring stuffed animals), but it wasn't until highschool drama that she really discovered acting as her passion.

After graduating highschool and considering her options for post secondary education Megan decided to sign up for a theatre program at the University of the Fraser Valley. Here she made her way through the program eager to take any theatre classes she could and graduated with a Theatre Diploma and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Dramatic studies) and Theatre.

While studying at UFV, Megan was able to study as an actor, but also to learn about all sides of theatre. On stage, Megan had the opportunity to undertake some great roles, noting Laura in Tenessee William's Glass Menagerie as one of the most challenging and rewarding. Off stage, she worked as a stage hand, techie, and designer, but most enjoyed working as a director. In 2009, Megan directed John Cariani's Almost, Maine at UFV and was selected to remount the production at the Harrison Festival of Arts.

Megan is now pursuing her passion for acting with career in film and television and continues studying at Vancouver Acting School.
